Bruin’s Plumbing & Heating Ltd. was founded in 1965 by Cor and Ariea Bruin with a simple philosophy: work hard, treat people well, and always care. What began as a small service company in Red Deer has grown into one of Central Alberta’s most respected plumbing and HVAC providers, offering residential service, large-scale construction projects, and everything in between. Now led by the second and third generations of the Bruin family, the company continues to deliver reliable, professional service with a heartfelt commitment to its team, clients, and community. Today, Bruin’s is proud to be known as “The Bear That Cares.”

First real employee hired *Herman had been working with his father since 1966

Grown to 65 employees

Moved the business out of Cor & Ariea’s home and got our first official building in Lower Fairview, Red Deer

Herman Bruin became President after Cor Bruin retired

Introduced HVAC to our company

The slogan “Bear that Cares” was introduced

Marty Bruin becomes General Manager
